Rebates

The major current incentives for the installation of solar power systems are the National Solar Schools Program, renewable energy certificates and some state and territory based feed in tariffs, most notably in the ACT and NSW, both of which now have active gross feed in tariffs. The Solar Credits scheme which replaced the $8,000 SHCP rebate allows the recipient to claim a additional renewable energy certificates which are provided as an upfront discount.
