Energy Efficiency at City Tattersalls Club

In 2011 Autonomous Energy conducted a detailed and comprehensive level 2 Energy Audit for City Tattersalls Club (CTC), in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The Energy Audit for partly funded by NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and partly funded by CTC. City Tattersalls Club facilities are complicated and comprise 4 buildings, integrated over time, functional spaces vary widely and include:

    * Gaming
    * Bars and Lounges
    * Restaurants, cafes and bistros
    * Commercial Kitchens and cool rooms
    * Gymnasiums, Saunas, Swimming Pools
    * Dance Studios
    * Office Space

Autonomous Energy's experienced Energy Efficiency Engineers were successful in developing a range of specific options to save energy at CTC. The final Energy Audit report is over 161 pages and features a broad range of analysis, benchmarking & KPIs, load profiles and detailed recommendations with details of capital cost, energy savings, emissions savings, cost savings, IRR, payback period and Energy Saving Certificates. Spectacular results were achieved with a reduction in energy consumption of 41% being identified. The return on investment associated with these recommendations is particularly strong given the long hours of use at the club and the relatively expensive cost of energy combined with the cost effectiveness of the recommendations provided.

Autonomous Energy is proud to continue to work with CTC, post final presentation of the Energy Audit, to effectively implement the recommendations of the Energy Audit report.
