Autonomous Energy implemented a turnkey 225kW Industrial Solar Power system for Sydney-based manufacturer, Ace Gutters. All work was completed by our in-house Solar Engineering and Solar Installation Teams, and the Solar Power system was commissioned in 2013.
A substantial amount of time, effort and expertise was committed to the structural engineering element of this project and the procurement of customised solar mounting equipment, most of which was imported from Germany.
Autonomous Energy solution
- This impressive large scale Solar power system features 918 x 245 watt Kyocera Solar modules connected to nine ABB PowerOne Aurora Trio (3 phase) inverters via dedicated customer designed DC and AC switchboards.
- The mounting equipment was specifically designed and engineered for the unique wind loading factors of this project. Independent structural engineering certification was also obtained for the solar design and equipment used.
- Autonomous Energy installed and commissioned an effective, user-friendly Solar Data Monitoring system which enables Autonomous Energy's Solar Engineering Team to actively monitor the performance of the system to ensure that the actual system yield outperforms the modelled data. The team can also ensure that any downtime on the system is minimised and any issues are detected and resolved quickly. This constitutes a highly valuable service for the client that is included as part of Autonomous Energy's turnkey Industrial Solar Power systems. Annual Solar Power System Performance Reports are also provided to the client. The publicly available section of this sophisticated online Solar Data Monitoring system can be viewed here.
