ANZ Bank is focused on ongoing reduction of their environmental footprint through innovation and efficiency. Energy used in their premises has been identified by ANZ as their most significant environmental impact and ANZ has set annual targets to reduce this energy consumption.
To support ANZ in achieving their goals, Autonomous Energy delivered a customised, turnkey energy efficient lighting upgrade for ANZ Bank’s 347 Kent St (Sydney) location. The energy efficiency upgrade project involved lighting design, specification, supply of all equipment and complete installation covering all floors of the building and included every individual lighting fixture. The upgrade means the building has the same light service levels, but with significantly reduced energy consumption.
Autonomous Energy solution
- Each pre-existing light fitting was replaced with brand new custom designed energy efficient luminaire.
- All installation work was conducted out of normal business hours so as not to disrupt the day to day professional activities.
- Autonomous Energy managed the creation of the Energy Saving Certificates subsidy, which greatly improved the return on investment figures.
- This energy efficient building retrofit also facilitated an improvement in the NABERS Energy Star rating for this building.
