Autonomous Energy designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a 100kW commercial Solar Power system for Blacktown Workers Sports Club in Sydney. This 100kW commercial Solar Power system was completed in early 2013 by Autonomous Energy’s inhouse solar installation team of experienced and dedicated electricians and CEC accredited solar installers. This system was the 2013 winner of the Clean Energy Council Solar Design and Installation Award.
Autonomous Energy solution
- The installation covers six different roof surfaces of varying shapes and orientations. The different orientation of the array sections also helps to spread the Solar generation curve out over the day to better match the site’s energy load profile.
- The varying pitch and orientation of each roof section was carefully taken into account when this system was designed by Autonomous Energy’s in-house solar engineering team.
- The system consists of 425 high quality, European-made, multi-crystalline Solar panels and 5 European-made ABB PowerOne Aurora three-phase inverters.
- An Australian-made solar data monitoring system was installed.
- This commercial Solar Power system utilises high quality European and Australian made components at a highly competitive price with an estimated simple payback period of 4 years.
