In line with Sydney Airport’s Sustainability Strategy, Autonomous Energy has delivered a 550kW solar car park shading project at Sydney International Airport’s (T1) Northern Multi Storey Car Park. Working in conjunction with Lend Lease, we have delivered a fully integrated solar PV system without compromising on car park spaces and functionality.
Installed on the 12
th storey of the car park, the design and high-quality installation of this innovative system supports Sydney Airport’s commitment to continual improvement in environmental management. Our solution involved a custom designed and built structure that resulted in the ability to safely install a much larger system than would be possible with an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution. This project demonstrates our capability in both designing and installing solar in unique and challenging areas without compromising on safety and performance.
We successfully managed all aspects of this solar PV project while maintaining the high safety standards of Lend Lease, Australia’s leading construction company. This project is the latest in a long line of successful car park shading projects delivered by Autonomous Energy.
