Installing a Solar Power system when constructing a new building, is a sensible and cost effective way to reduce the operating costs of the building and its impact on the environment. APPWAM have done just this.
For the past 25 years, APPWAM have maintained a leading reputation of high quality products and accessories to the Custom Audio Visual Installation, Communications, DATA, Consumer Electronics, Engineering and Servicing industries. As a company focused on quality, the business owner was keen to insure that the best quality Solar Power system available in Australia was selected.
Autonomous Energy was selected to design and install the system over strong competition due to our superior technical expertise and the track record in delivering systems on time and on budget, a critical element when it comes to construction projects.
This Solar Power system is using 400 x 250W Kyocera modules and 4 x Power One Aurora 3 phase inverters and will be completed in April 2014.
Generating 139,343kWh per annum, this system has a Return on Investment of 4.4 years which is exceptional given the design calls for installation on a flat roof, meaning that the panels will need to be tilted at an appropriate angle to ensure optimal solar electricity generation, which adds to the overall system cost.
Regular communication between Autonomous Energy’s Project Manager and the Construction Manager at Genero, has meant that all facets of planning have been well understood at both ends and Autonomous Energy have been able to manage critical logistical elements unique to this project.
APPWAM can be assured that the Solar Power system to be delivered by Autonomous Energy will deliver energy savings for decades and will be the “jewel in the crown” that is their new commercial premises.
