A professional Energy Audit is an advanced diagnostic tool that identifies exactly where and how a facility can save energy and the details around the costs and benefits. The detailed analysis for the energy saving options provided in the Energy Audit report facilitates informed investment decisions relating to energy efficiency and distributed generation by providing detailed business cases, thus enabling the organisation to choose which measures best meet their objectives and requirements.
As a project delivery company (rather than purely a consultancy) we are well placed to provide practical solutions for energy savings, and pricing that accurately reflects the implementation of the project. Following an energy audit, we are able to implement the recommendations in the report, taking you from audit through to end result seamlessly. Where clients choose to implement the recommendations in the report, Autonomous Energy can also provide verification of the savings (Measurement and Verification Services) to compare to what appears in the report.
There are 3 main types of Energy Audits that can be completed. All will result in accurate figures for the upgrade price.
- Type 1: Data based analysis of the client’s energy consumption, providing a high-level overview of the energy performance of the site with basic recommendations for improvement.
- Type 2: Granular on-site assessment of the client’s energy usage, providing results accurate to >80% with detailed recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades.
- Type 3: A detailed analysis of the site’s equipment using real-time metered data, this provides a comprehensive implementation and tender documentation as a result.
Our engineers will spend as many days onsite as required to ensure we have accurately captured all relevant information about the site to provide the desired level of Energy Audit. Following detailed data collection, our engineers apply our proven methodology to calculate your electricity savings, based upon your actual tariffs and anticipated electricity price increases.
